Glass Theatre Cinderella Spotlight: Tyler Berryman – Ensemble

February 27, 2015 by Ruth O'Keefe Leave a Comment

by Kate Pittard Our spotlight today is on senior TYLER BERRYMAN, who is in the Male Ensemble! Tyler Berryman – Ensemble

Why Theatre? “I started theatre because Allison Gryder talked me into auditioning. And from day 1 of auditions, I absolutely loved it. The people are incredible!”

Why Cinderella? “Cinderella is a great story. It’s timeless and can be enjoyed by any age group from toddlers wishing to be princesses to elderly romantics. I personally feel one of the best aspects of this specific version of Cinderella is the music. The score is incredible, and great to listen to even without the show. Audiences will love our performance of the age-old musical because of all the time and work we’ve put into making this a beautiful show. People are going to be blown away.”

Tyler’s Experience with Theatre: Aside from participating in Dunbar Middle’s High School Musical 2 in sixth grade, this is Tyler’s theatrical debut! We have loved getting to know him and welcoming him to GT!

More About Tyler: “Some of my hobbies are playing guitar (acoustic or electric), watching film (my top 5 are Pulp Fiction, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Reservoir Dogs, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, in that order), and playing cards (spades). I’m a part of the forensics team with my duo partner Rob Dendy, and I absolutely love that. And I’m going to major in Journalism at Lynchburg College.”

Sidney’s Experience with Theatre:
Sidney is back for her second show at Glass Theatre! Her first show was Rent, and she played the Blanket Lady.
